Hugh Kelleher 

Director at Large, Contractor, Hugh Kelleher is owner of Construction Quality Analysis, Inc., and executive director of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association of Greater Boston since 1998.

A graduate of Phillips Academy, Andover, Kelleher attended Harvard College and graduated magna cum laude. After 13 years working in education, government and publishing, including speech writing and press secretary on Capitol Hill, Kelleher changed gears and began an apprenticeship with Plumbers Union Local 12 in Boston.

A licensed master plumber, gas fitter and sprinkler fitter, Kelleher provided residential and commercial plumbing services from 1989-97. From 1991-97, Kelleher oversaw quality control for a key portion of the Boston Harbor Clean-Up Project, featuring $85M in new piping systems during construction of the Deer Island Waste Water Treatment Plant.

Kelleher has served as a trustee of Plumbers Union Local 12’s Pension, Health and Annuity Funds, including serving as chairman since 2012.

A resident of Newburyport, Mass., Kelleher has been involved in numerous community activities, including the Big Brothers program and as an elected member of the local Charter Commission.
