IAPMO Standards Council Appeals Decisions
The IAPMO Standards Council met on November 8, 2011 to hear appeals to the proposed 2012 editions of the Uniform Plumbing Code and Uniform Mechanical Code. The Standards Council acted on the appeals in accordance with the Regulations Governing Committee Projects.

At the conclusion of their meeting, the Standards Council issued the 2012 editions of the Uniform Plumbing Code and Uniform Mechanical Code. Both publications are now being finalized for print and should be available for shipping by February 2012.

IAPMO Board of Directors Petition Filed
The IAPMO Board of Directors Subcommittee will hear a petition on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 regarding the Standards Council decision on appeal #1200-12. The hearing will take place at the Westin Diplomat Hotel located at 3555 South Ocean Drive in Hollywood, Florida (Telephone #954-602-6000). The petition, filed by Jack Beuschel of Studor, will be heard from 9:00am – 10:00am. Click here for a copy of the filed petition.
Responses to the petitions may be filed with the Petitions Clerk, Ms. Gaby Davis, by interested parties in accordance with Section 7-2 of the Regulations Governing Petitions to the Board of Directors from Decisions of the Standards Council. Interested parties may attend the hearings to either support or oppose the petition. If an interested party intends to participate in the hearing, s/he should notify the Petitions Clerk upon filing a written response by January 10, 2012. Green Plumbing and Mechanical Code Supplement Hearing Information
The IAPMO Board of Directors will hear an appeal on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 regarding the IAPMO Green Technical Committee actions taken at the December 8 and 9, 2011 Meeting on Public Comments 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 to Item 42 related to Duct Leakage Testing. The hearing will take place at the Westin Diplomat Hotel located at 3555 South Ocean Drive in Hollywood, Florida (Telephone #954-602-6000). The petition, filed by Eli P.
