IAPMO offers a series of Academies and special events that are 2- to 4- days that cover a single topic or a series of related topics.  Academies and special events will allow you the opportunity to receive a significant amount of training in a short time period. Emerging Technology Symposium

This timely symposium is intended to provide the juncture for manufacturing, engineering, and trade industries to display and demonstrate their inventive solutions to regulatory developments.

What is it?

A two-day event that will provide an engaging discussion on how the manufacturing, engineering, and trade industries have found solutions within emerging technologies in the plumbing and mechanical industries, as well as green building concepts.

Presentations and panels will discuss emerging technology trends, practices and products.

Participants will be

  • Exposed to emerging products and practices.
  • Exchanging views on emerging trends in the industry.
  • Learning about approaches to dealing with emerging technology on the job.
  • Learning about green plumbing and mechanical concepts.

Leadership in Code Administration Academy

This five-day event will cover aspects of code enforcement that are administrative in nature.  The training will be non-technical and will include management topics that will assist individuals in becoming administrators and managers.  Potential topics may include (but are not limited to) the following:
