Standing Committees

The IAPMO Bylaws stipulate that there be Audit, Bylaws, and Membership committees, and other committees as may be necessary for the success of the organization.  The members of these committees are current Board members appointed by the President and approved by the Board of Directors.

Audit Committee
The Audit Committee is responsible for reviewing the financial transactions of the association and reporting to the membership at the Annual Meeting.  The committee is composed of the Chairperson, one Board member from each of the three Association Districts, and one Board member at large.  The terms of these members coincides with the term of the President.

Bylaws Committee
It is the task and responsibility of the Bylaws Committee to review all proposals for amendments to the IAPMO Bylaws and present those amendments to the Board of Directors and IAPMO membership.  The committee consists of a Chairman and four members appointed from the Voting membership.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee is responsible for selecting and securing new members for the Association.  This task is typically done in conjunction with staff efforts to recruit new IAPMO members.  The committee consists of a Chairman and four members appointed from the Voting membership.
