ACCREDITATIONS

Accreditation requires the use of calibrated instrumentation, written quality procedures, and involves a rigorous regimen of training, record-keeping, management reviews, cause analysis, inter-laboratory proficiency testing, and a host of other mechanisms to ensure the validity and integrity of the data collected.

Institute of Building Technology is a nationally recognized testing laboratory accredited by ANAB to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories) by ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB). (Lab Code AT-1479) - Search ANAB listings 

Testing laboratories have to demonstrate compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 to be deemed technically competent. ANAB conducts regular audits to ensure that our operations follow international standards.

Note: ANAB recognition covers many agencies/jurisdictions who require the laboratory must be listed by an agency which provides accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025.

The ANAB recognition is accepted by ILAC, APLAC, and IAAC as a signatory of multilateral recognition arrangements that facilitate acceptance of test and calibration data internationally.
