IAPMO EGS as an accredited Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) will be able to provide you with a field label for the installation of your one-off system.
The process involves a detailed evaluation of the system per the relevant standard in its final installed location (or at your facility with a follow up inspection in the field).
Upon successful completion of this process you will be provided with a complete report of the work that was performed and IAPMO EGS will apply its field evaluation mark on the product.
This process “The Field Evaluation” is a common industry practice that provides manufacturers of one sample an affordable means to show compliance. It differs from the “Certification” process in that it does not include an annual fee and annual manufacturing facility audits. After we issue the report and place the mark the process is done.
