Field Evaluation and Labeling Services is a service to evaluate uncertified commercial food equipment installed in restaurants, hotels, and other establishments to nationally recognized sanitation standards. Once found compliant, the equipment is labeled with a serialized IAPMO EGS Field Label.
IAPMO EGS has been providing supports to local inspectors and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) by confirming that installed uncertified commercial food equipment meets the applicable requirements of nationally recognized sanitation standards.
We also provide formal reports summarizing the evaluation details and apply compliance labels to the equipment upon the completion of the service. This service is typically completed within days of request to make the equipment ready for re-inspection quickly.
