DIGDEEP IS A HUMAN RIGHTS NON-PROFIT that was among the 2018 recipients of the U.S. Water Prize. Their goal is to help ensure that every American has clean, running water forever.
In support of DigDeep’s award-winning Navajo Water Project, IWSH has assembled multi-disciplined teams of skilled tradespeople to execute plumbing and construction projects that improve living conditions in nominated households. Works carried out through our Community Plumbing Challenge, Navajo Nation program include bathroom renovations, kitchen renovations, and connection to new water supply and wastewater systems.
These projects have focused on the Baca-Prewitt chapter area of New Mexico (Oct 2018), and the Navajo Mountain chapter area of Arizona/Utah (June 2019), engaging local labor organizations and education partners in the process.
