IAPMO is continuing to grow and build strong global relationships assisting societies to ensure safety in plumbing related hygiene, gas products and appliances. IAPMO is dedicated to assisting to industry to get their products to market quickly and ensure they comply with regulatory requirements.

IAPMO Oceania is the fastest growing plumbing and gas certification conformity assessment body in Australia. Our growth has been so significant we moved to a much larger premises. In May 2019 we moved to Narre Warren (a suburb 35 kilometres, southeast of Melbourne) to purposely build, state-of-the-art gas laboratory, research centre and office facilities. The gas laboratory is the most advanced gas laboratory in the Southern Hemisphere.

We at IAPMO care for the environment, and, as with everything else that IAPMO does, we are the leaders in our industry. The new Narre Warren facility’s structure provides the energy to heat and cool the building. The geothermal system is built into the structure of the building. A first in Australia. Much of our electricity is supplied by a photo voltaic solar array on our roof. 

IAPMO is about giving back. Giving back to industry by support Standards development, assisting manufacturers and importers and assisting Government Regulators.

Our philanthropic efforts help to raise the sanitary condition of people who need our help.
