I’m very excited to share some news with you. IAPMO has initiated a new process for nominating individuals and groups worthy of receiving one of our annual awards and we welcome your input!

If you direct your web browser HERE, you will find our new Annual Awards Application page. There you can read a description and the criteria for each of the awards bestowed each year at our annual Education and Business Conference — and if you have somebody in mind, submit an application for their nomination.

In addition to awards no doubt familiar to most of you — Industry Person of the Year; Government Person of the Year; American Flag; Joseph Kneidinger Sustainability Professional of the Year; and George Kauffman Lifetime Achievement — there are some new or newer awards for your consideration, as well.

Last year, we introduced the Legislator of the Year and Bruce Pfeiffer Committee Member of the Year awards, and brand new for this year is the President’s Green Oval Award, given to individuals or organizations who demonstrate outstanding service in support of The IAPMO Group’s mission and strategic directives.

We know our members are all over the country and the world doing important work, advancing the Uniform Codes and protecting health, safety, sustainability and resiliency, but there are so many of you we don’t always hear all of the stories. Now is your chance to tell us so we can recognize those who have gone above and beyond for IAPMO and our industry.

The deadline to submit a nomination is April 1 so don’t delay!
