Every member contributes something to IAPMO's collective mission, whether it is on a local level or halfway around the world, and we are indebted to every contribution, big or small. Each year, IAPMO recognizes individuals whose contributions have proven exceedingly consequential to our organization and our industry as a whole. IAPMO would not be the worldwide organization of influence it is today without the selfless work of these individuals.
All IAPMO members are encouraged to nominate someone whose contributions they believe go above and beyond, deserving of special recognition. The following are the awards given annually and the nomination form, which is due by April 1. Recipients will be announced at IAPMO’s annual Education and Business Conference in September.

In 2000, the IAPMO Board of Directors chose to honor George Kauffman by naming this distinguished award in his name. The award was presented to George at IAPMO’s annual conference held in Alaska in September 2000. George served on numerous IAPMO committees and was considered an expert on codes.
